Dale Beckles – President & CEO
Dale Beckles is the President and CEO of Arcaneo. During his 17 years in the
software industry, Dale has held a number of senior management and consulting
positions with industry leaders. His positions have included: Director,
Business Development, Computer Innovations (ComputerLand); founder and General
Manager, Lotus Development (Canada); Vice President, Marketing & Sales,
Digital Research; Product Development Partner, Software Publishing; Marketing
Consultant, Apple Computer; and MSDN Regional Director, Microsoft Corp. Most
recently, Dale was President and CEO of Valadeo Technologies Corp., a software
company providing web content infrastructure products for the web hosting
industry. Prior to Valadeo, Dale also founded Developer’s Workshop, a
software tools company, and Fusion International, a contract product
development company for large software firms. This is Dale’s 4th start-up.
Keith Wilkie – VP, Technology
Keith Wilkie brings 15+ years of software development experience to Arcaneo,
with expertise ranging from mainframe to the latest C# and .NET Technology
Platforms. Formerly a Microsoft Regional Director, Keith co-founded Scotland’s
largest and most successful Microsoft consulting company, Cedalion. Keith took
Cedalion from scratch to a highly respected Microsoft Partner with a team to 20
employees through innovative recruitment and people management skills, and
achieved many firsts on Microsoft technology in his country including active
server and host integration. He has a depth of experience in software
development processes and the application of leading edge technologies to
solutions for enterprises such as banks, insurance companies, utilities,
government and SMEs in the UK.
Clement Ng – VP, Corporate and Business
Development
Clement has more than 10 years international experience which includes
assisting Internet, Telecommunications and IT companies in their international
expansion plans through investments and partnerships in Europe and Asia. Most
recently, Clement served as Director, Corporate Development of Valadeo
Technologies where he developed an Asian joint venture and helped with the
Series B financing. Prior to that, he was VP Corporate Development for a B2B
internet auction/exchange software company, ecmarket. At ecmarket,
Clement played a key role in helping the company raise $11M in their Series A
financing from North American, European and Asian investors, as well as in
building and managing a regional sales and implementation team. Clement’s
advisory skills have contributed to the success of a number of technology
start-ups directly, as well as through the Government of Canada's Venture
Financing Program, which accounted for more than $50M injections into various
Canadian high tech start-ups and funds over a 2 year period. Prior to this,
Clement was an economist at the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade.
Colin Richards – Director, Software
Development
Colin has more than ten years experience as a software developer with extensive
experience developing corporate database systems. Colin has built systems for
companies such as de Havilland Aircraft Corporation, Canadian Imperial Bank of
Commerce and AT&T Canada Long Distance Services. Colin has led the
development of a number of commercial software products. For example, he was
the communications and database developer for the CIBC Online project which was
CIBC's first commercial online application for account management and
reporting. Colin also built the object database and the formula compiler for
Panorama’s pbviews balanced scorecard decision support system. Most recently
Colin was senior developer and web application architect for the Valadeo
LiveSite Server product.
